Atty. Larry Resolves $60K+ Procurement Dispute for US Client with Guangzhou, Shenzhen Suppliers

Recently, Senior Partner Larry Zhou's legal team at Landing (Shenzhen) Law Office successfully assisted an American purchaser in resolving an international goods sales contract dispute with two suppliers based in Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

The American purchaser (hereinafter referred to as the "client") entered into cross-border procurement agreements with the two suppliers in Guangzhou and Shenzhen (collectively referred to as the "suppliers"). After receiving the full payment for the first order and a deposit for the second order, the Chinese suppliers failed to deliver the goods in full as stipulated in the contract, committing a fundamental breach and causing the American client a loss of over $60000.

To avoid further economic losses, the client sought legal assistance from Attorney Larry's team. Upon accepting the commission, our lawyers, drawing on their extensive practical experience in handling international trade disputes, promptly initiated negotiations with the suppliers.

Despite the complexity of this transaction, which involved multiple shippers, intricate payment facts from the client, and detailed shipping information from the suppliers, our lawyers meticulously analyzed the contracts, consolidated shipping documents, and payment records to clearly outline the suppliers' breaches of contract.

During the negotiation process with the suppliers, our lawyers simultaneously prepared legal letters and litigation contingency plans, designed negotiation strategies, and actively mediated, preserving the possibility of continued cooperation between the parties.

Ultimately, the American client and the Chinese suppliers reached a settlement. The suppliers fulfilled the shortfall in goods delivery, and the client was spared the need to file a lawsuit, thus avoiding additional costs. The client highly praised Attorney Larry for their legal expertise and business acumen in transforming a significant crisis into a win-win solution.

This case once again demonstrates that precise legal analysis combined with commercial thinking can resolve cross-border disputes at a manageable cost. By shifting away from adversarial litigation and focusing on the core interests of the client, the best possible outcomes can often be achieved.
